It is true but we also must bare in mind that the last Scripture from Allah was the Recitation (Qur'an).

Allah will protect the Qur'an from being tampered (changed) by mankind.

Before you read the Bible, make sure you read the Qur'an first, specailly if you are a new convert (begginer). It can confuse your mind!
