Opening conversations to a Christian about Islam

Assalaam O Alikum,
Most every christian you meet today will tell you that Jesus is the final salvation for mankind. And sometimes it is difficult to bring up the conversation of Islam being a religion because they claim that there is none to come after Jesus.

So to get to a point were you can talk about islam you may ask the following:

Is there any prophet to come after Jesus?
Usually they say no, if they say yes then ask why they don’t accept Muhammad(saw) and you have started sharing with them about islam.

If they say no, then you ask if this is the case then please explain to me what Jesus was talking about when he said in Matthew 7:15 - 20
15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

If a person is to look out for false prophets, then it is evident that we should be looking for a true prophet arent we? And if Jesus was telling us to look for other prophets, then we are to look at the fruit of Muhammad(saw) since he claimed to be a prophet because this is the test set forth by Jesus.
And you can take the conversation, where ever you would like to inorder that you can share the fruits of our Prophet (saw)
